Object and Purpose of Career Search Activity Program

• PRIME is a project that encourages universities to reflect their future societal needs autonomously and reorganize their academic structure, such as the adjustment of their professions, strengthening career match capacity along with students’ major study competencies. In addition to the engineering field, which is the main field of PRIME universities, universities plan to cultivate a variety of talents in other fields such as natural sciences, humanities, arts and sports, depending on university conditions and characteristics. From 2021, when students first graduate, it is expected that the program will contribute to solve the mismatch of manpower and solve the unemployment issue of young people.
• The selected university presents a curriculum reorganization plan that takes advantage of the strengths of each university to reflect changes in society and industrial demand, and develops distinctive career paths in connection with industrial enterprises to support smooth entry into the student society.
