Business Overview

  • Business Introduction
    - Visit elementary, middle, and high schools in Cheongju and Sejong areas to conduct career exploration classes
    - Professionals and pre-service teachers form a group to conduct career exploration classes.
      * Check the announcement document for career exploration programs
    - Conduct classes in block time (80 minutes) for students of applicant schools in the jurisdiction twice a day.
      * 2 to 3 pre-service teachers will be matched with each instructor to ensure the efficient operation of the program.

  • Role of Pre-service Teachers
    ① Role as a cooperative instructor and assistant in educational activities
      - Receive program training from expert teachers and conduct the program directly at the school site
      - Assist in educational activities conducted by experts (hosting, managing students in class, assisting and encouraging class participation, etc.)
    ② Participate in pre- and post-surveys (link sharing) to help develop the program and ensure its smooth progress
    ③ Participate in administrative tasks and paperwork related to the visiting classroom support group for students who wish to participate (work stipend)
  • Selection of prospective teachers
    ① Prospective teachers who are available to work on the required dates during the program period (1st semester: mid-June to mid-July)
      - Must be available for activities on the scheduled dates as much as possible, but may be excluded one or two times
      - The second semester (December) will also be held, and those with experience in the first semester will be selected.
    ② Prospective teachers who are able to conduct classes directly after receiving brief program training from experts
      - Receive training on professional career exploration programs (4D frame, aerospace kinetic art, balancing art, art-based self-exploration) and participate in classes directly with professional teachers

      - Select your preferred area of training when completing the activity registration form
      - Training will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.), attendance required
      - During the actual training, an expert teacher and 2-3 pre-service teachers will conduct the training in a group, and pre-service teachers can add various ideas based on the contents of the program.
  • Benefits for Pre-Service Teachers
    - Transportation reimbursement (10,000 won per trip)
      * Actual transportation is by school vehicle
    - Labor stipend for activity preparation and pre-activity meetings
    - Educational activity hours (expected to be 5-6 hours per school, including preparation time and training time)
    - Extra points for participating in the Convergence Education Research Center's educational volunteer activity season competition
    - Preferential selection when applying for future Convergence Education Institute programs
    - Priority selection when applying for the 2nd semester visiting class support group activities
