In order to foster the pre-service teachers required in the future society, we provide practical supports in connection with the national Secondary School Master Teacher Association, which has expertise in school class. We also provide an opportunity to strengthen the capabilities of pre-service teachers through pre-service teacher and senior teacher mentoring system. For the last, we provide trainings to strengthen their teaching capacity by taking senior classroom instructions at the actual school site.

Established the concept of "convergence" and "convergence education" through the history of convergence education and the relationship building between divisional education and convergence education. Found the convergent talents through the drawing out of talent factors and categorization. Developed convergence curriculum principles for the development of convergent talents covering the principles of teaching-learning and the principles of assessment.
Based on the theory and model of convergence education, convergence education program for middle school students is composed of core idea setting and finding out convergence factors in each subject. The program is composed of learner's textbook and an instructor’s guide based on compatibility with the government main educational policy and benchmarking overseas best practices. It also includes peer evaluation of student and an evaluation plan for student's portfolio providing opportunities for job searching and career related courses as well as experts reviews regarding the developed program and reviews from in-service teachers reviews regarding on-site suitability.
Provided pre-service teacher practice opportunities for convergence education by establishing an infrastructure for practical training of convergence education through a laboratory composed of high-tech equipment. In order to establish a pre-service teacher field practice support system through cooperation with in-service teachers, we made the Memorandum of Understanding with Korea Secondary School Master Teacher Association and Korea Primary School Master Teacher Association to conduct joint educational activities such as the development and operation of convergence education programs, mentoring activities, planning and holding convergence education contests, and so on.
Developed pre-service teacher curriculum based on convergence education theory and model to improve pre-service teacher's professionalism regarding convergence education. Opened courses on theory and practice of convergence education and provided mentoring opportunities for in-service teachers, contributing to the theoretical and practical capacity enhancement of pre-service teacher convergence education to strengthen pre-service teacher's long-term and continuous convergence instructional capacity.
Provided two types of convergence education programs (topic selection activity program, career exploration activity program) for in-service teachers nationwide and direct operation at middle school in 2016. Analyzed opinions of in-service teachers on student achievement in the convergence education program to verify educational effects of the convergence education program in order to draw ideas for program improvement and to elaborate on the program.
Held a nationwide-scale convergence education competitive exhibition for pre-service teachers, in-service teachers, and middle schoolers to share ideas about convergence and improve the professionalism of convergence classes. Contributed to improving the practical capacity of pre-service teachers through on-line and off-line mentoring of in-service teachers in the process of participating in the competition and provide opportunities for cooperation and exchange of pre-service and in-service teachers in cooperation with national education colleges, teacher’s colleges and middle schools.
